A FAN FAVOURITE- HECO DIREKT Loudspeakers

The Heco Direkt Loudspeakers are no stranger to Kronos AV, and they seem to be making an impact in Munich as well. Behind these wonderful speakers you can see a list of awards they have won (which is vast!!) and with good reason to! Working alongside a valve amplifier, the Heco Direkt's are a personal favourite of the Kronos AV Staff and for their price, are true value for money!

Something a little special - AudioVector R11's

AudioVector certainly showed up with a plan to "WOW" the crowd, and so far they are doing a pretty good job too! At just a hair under £50,000 these speakers aren't going to be on everyones purchase list, but my word, they are stunning to look at, and they don't sound half bad either! They are incredibly imposing in the room, and are no doubt at attention grabber, so we give the thumbs up here!

Pure Italian CRAFTMANSHIP- Diapason

Diapason have this incredible ability to blow us away every year with what they bring to the show, not only are there products just exquisite to look at, but look at these stunning special editions. The photos really don't do them justice, the craftsmanship is second to none, I'll take a pair please! :)

Hemingsway, who are based in Korea, are a cable manufacturing company, producing quality cables including speaker cables, interconnects, and mains cables. The Creation S Speaker Cable is not going to be affordable for most people, at $28,000, but you could always add it to your christmas list ;)

It's all about whats on the inside - Pathos

Another favourite of ours, Pathos Acoustics from Italy put on another great display including a range of thier stunning amplifiers, and there speakers where also on demonstration. A rich, warm, musical sound is echoed across this room. Seeing inside the amps is also a treat, and clearly Pathos care as much about the inside appearance as they do about the outside! Great Job by Pathos!

Mouth Watering - dan D'agostino 

Do I even need to say anything? Dan D'agostino knocks it out of the park again, no need for flashy marketing just look at this, simply spectacular. This particular product os roped off, and that seems fair, as something that nice, desires its own spotlight!

Looking sharp - Kef Blades

The Kef blades are drawing a crowd, particularly this interesting insight into the inner working and design of the cabinets and the technology. Nice touch from Kef allowing n insight into how they work, very impressive!

honey, i "grew" the cartridge?

Audio Technica have put on a great display, showcasing their extensive range of products including headphones and cartridges. My attention was however drawn to this rather large version of one of their cartridges! A really cool idea of letting you see exactly what goes into the building of a cartridge. Very nice idea, and a great looking stand!!

Gato Audio put on a great display showcasing there stunning range of products, and reminding us just why we love them! These products seem to get nicer the more I see them.  I think my wallet may be getting claustrophobic in my pocket, maybe have to let it out for some air ;p

Mag-Lev Audio have produced this levitating turntable. Very futuristic indeed! Nicely finished product and defiantly some new thinking. What do you guys think?

sTEP INTO THE RING... Acoustic signature INVICTUS!

Invictus sounds like a very appropriate name for this turntable! The iconic Invictus by Acoustic signature is something of a legend, and this particular one, finished in black and gold is something else! Coupled with 4 tonearms, its an analogue enthusiasts dream!! It may stretch a few credit card limits with a price tag of £99,750.00, but I mean, just look at it!

pro-ject artist collaborations...

Pro-Ject have brought along a heathy collection of their Artist collaborations. Here is the SGT.Pepper, which is based around Pro-Jects exceptionally popular Essential III. Produced to celebrate the iconic album Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band turned fifty years old on June 1st, 2017. A nice collectors item, and a good turntable too!!

YG have put on a great show as well, very classy speakers and a great sound. Quite a tall speaker which wouldn't suit everyone, but defiantly an impressive product!

SPeaking of big speakers...

These are the Albedo Audio Alecta's. Measuring  in at around 170cm you may need a dedicated room for your HiFi! Matched up here with Audia Flight amplification.  These speakers also weigh in at around 120kg so be sure to lift with your knees...

A Head Turner...ONKK CUE DD Turntable

This turntable has certainly been a head turner at the show, a striking and very different design approach to the norm. Very nicely built, electronic speed control and stop/start included! Interesting product for sure. I haven't heard it playing so cant comment on the sound, but certainly an interesting product!

TAKING TAPE DECKS TO A NEW LEVEL...

This is certainly the essence of blending old technology with new styling. Again it wasn't playing but certainly a standout in the looks department. Very interesting indeed! Would love to hear it!

Moon put on another great showing, displaying a great range of products. Without doubt one of our favourite brands at the moment. Any one who owns or has heard their products understands what I mean!

Boenicke... Swiss Brilliance! 

Boenicke alongside a demonstration system had these gems sitting in the corner, showing how much work and effort has gone into the internal design of their loudspeakers. Its great to see in a world of technology, some clever thinking and planning. What a truly remarkable product!

If you are looking to speak a new purchase past your better half, its probably best to look elsewhere! lol Avantgarde speakers certainly make a statement, and for anyone who is a lover of horn speakers, well just enjoy!!

New Horizon turntables, based in Italy are defiantly a contender that have entered the turntable game. Starting at only £399.00 and utilising Audio Technica and Pro-Ject components (cartridge & tonearm) these could defiantly be a big hit!
