CD Spinning

This is a high-end CD player with a CD transport that uses an advanced loop-less structure designed for low noise and astonishingly accurate reading of discs. This mechanism is housed within Luxman’s signature sleek aluminium shielded chassis and features an exclusive steel top-plate. An aesthetic match to your other Luxman units and a elegant addition to any hi-fi system.

MQA Decoding

MQA or Mater Quality Authenticated technology allows a file to digitally capture the quality of the original master recording. This CD player is MQA-compatible, meaning you can play MQA files up to 24-bit digitally with the USB, optical or coaxial inputs or play CD recorded in MQA quality. When the CD player is decoding the MQA files, LED indicators on the front of the unit display blue for studio, green for authentic, and red/purple for rendering status.

Support for Hi-Res files

Based on the highly acclaimed D-05U CD/SACD player, the D-03X’s built-in USB-DAC design enables a wider range of music playback options. The USB input support hi-res PCM files up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD files up to 5.64MHz. During transferring from your computer to CD player, four Bulk Pet modes are utilised to optimise high resolution audio files by minimising the workload between reading the file and reproducing it. The digital inputs also support 24-bit/192kHz signals.
