Audia Flight FLS1 Preamplifier

The Audia Flight FLS1 is a fully balanced stereo preamplifier engineered to preserve musical detail while providing precise volume control and flexible system integration. Its true dual-mono configuration separates the left and right channel circuitry, helping maintain signal integrity and stereo imaging.

Three shielded toroidal transformers supply the preamplifier's circuits, while Audia Flight's Class A current-feedback gain stage and Class A-biased MOSFET output stage are designed to deliver a fast, low-noise signal to the connected power amplifier.

The volume control operates across a range of -90dB to +10dB, with precise 0.5dB increments. Inputs can be individually configured, renamed and gain-adjusted by ±6dB, making the FLS1 adaptable to a wide variety of source components and system requirements.

Additional features include a blue OLED display, an anodised aluminium remote control, a high-current headphone amplifier and two expansion slots for optional phono, DAC or additional analogue input boards.

The Audia Flight FLS4 is a high-performance stereo power amplifier designed to combine speed, control and substantial power delivery. Its fully balanced circuitry, Class A current-feedback gain stage and carefully engineered power supply draw on technology developed for Audia Flight’s flagship Strumento range.

At its heart is a substantial 2,000VA toroidal transformer, supported by low-impedance power-supply capacitors and multiple independent regulated supply stages. The output section incorporates 32 power transistors, while the amplifier's high-current architecture is designed to maintain control across demanding musical passages and a range of loudspeaker loads.

The FLS4 delivers 200W RMS per channel into 8Ω, increasing to 380W into 4Ω and up to 700W into 2Ω under the manufacturer's stated conditions. Its bandwidth of up to 700kHz at -3dB and damping factor greater than 650 at 8Ω reflect its emphasis on fast response and precise loudspeaker control.

A solid aluminium chassis, carefully isolated gain-stage circuitry and microprocessor-monitored current protection complete an amplifier designed for demanding high-end stereo systems.
