Brexit and COVID 19 Update

 

BREXIT

 

Currently there are no changes to orders since the introduction of Brexit on the 1st January. There are no additional charges, import duties or taxes chargeable on any orders within the UK or Ireland. Essentially there is no change to shipping or ordering, and everything remains the same as it was last year.

 

If you are purchasing from the Republic of Ireland, all orders will be shipped from our warehouse in N.Ireland store therefore no additional taxes or charges are applicable. All orders going to the Republic of Ireland ship from our NI warehouse as we have a contract with DPD for shipping throughout Ireland.

 

COVID

The safety of our customers and staff is paramount.

DELIVERY AS NORMAL

We are still delivering orders as normal. When your order ships you will still receive tracking details. For UK shipments, Our couriers have procedures in place to ensure deliveries are arriving as quickly & safe as possible. Drivers can now sign for your parcels, however will notify you that they have arrived, in order to ensure you receive your parcel. Signing for the parcel has now been stopped temporally for hygiene reasons. Drivers are also working with customer instructions, so you can ask them to leave the parcel in a safe place (doorstep etc...) if you prefer not to come into direct contact with the driver.

SHOWROOM

As per government advice, our showroom is temporarily closed for demonstrations and visitors. We will be shipping all customer orders however orders cannot temporarily be collected in store. Our staff are available by phone, email and live chat during opening hours. While some of our staff are working from home, key staff required for despatch are still operating as normal, but are putting procedures in place to ensure the highest degree of hygiene and safety.

 

PART EXCHANGE/TRADE INS

We are still able to quote and accept your old equipment in part exchange/trade in. Temporarily trade in items will have to be shipped as we cannot accepted them in store. Due to this we are offering to collect your trade in free of charge with one of our couriers. For any orders with part exchanges/trade ins, please contact us to arrange us to collect these items by courier.

WARRANTY REPAIRS

Some of our staff are working form home, so are able to process warranty repairs as normal. Please however bear with us during this period, as all business have had to reduce the number of staff, therefore delays are inevitable. We will however do everything we can to keep this moving at as close to normal rate as possible. We are still working from our office/warehouse, however half our team is working from home so please bear with us during this period, there may be slight delays in dealing with returns and warranty repairs but we will do our best as per normal to resolve these as soon as possible.

Lastly

Finally and importantly, thank you to all of our customers. We will do our best to offer the very best deals and service during this situation and hopefully, as we have seen already with our customers, getting something delivered can make self-isolating a little easier & we'll do everything we can to help. We have good stock, many of our suppliers are still open and we're all working together to ensure your order arrives with you as quickly as possible. Many of our suppliers are also offering to drop ship directly to you, in order to get your order to you faster as well as reducing the amount of contact.
