It's Nostalgic...

This is what it is all about isn't it? Flicking through vinyl, reading the track lists, discovering new artists, and that feeling when you can't wait to get home and hear what you have just bought. While Streaming has brought many advantages to our world, it cant complete with this aspect of vinyl.

Talking to people in vinyl stores, hearing  their stories, and sharing your love of music, this is the essence of what music is about, and you don't get that with anything but Vinyl!

"It's just better..."

Sitting in store with a customer discussing vinyl and other music sources, and his simple answer was, "It's just better" and I think he is right. From a sound quality point of view, it is unparalleled to anything else. Streaming an CD can undoubtedly give you a great sound, but not that "Vinyl" sound. The cracks, pops and even the simple task of putting the vinyl on the turntable, and moving the arm into place is special. You also hear albums, nit 1-2 tracks, but you sit and listen to the album from start to finish. Thats something that is special in itself.  

It's the little things in life...

Having something you enjoy is something we often forget about in life. Whether it is the most up to date technology or not, doesn't really matter, vinyl is vinyl and thats all it needs to be. Building a collection, loving your turntable, and loving your music is all that really matters. There is a reason vinyl has stuck around for as long as it has, and we don't think it is going anywhere...
